Vw Polo - ALL MODELS
PROBLEM - Oil leaking from the engine oil pan plug after changing the engine oil.
CAUSE - Damaged drain hole on engine oil pan or thread on plug.
REPAIR - Drain the engine oil. Clean the threads on the drain hole on the engine oil sump and plug. Check the drain hole on the engine oil sump or the thread on the plug for damage. Replace components if necessary. Tighten the engine oil sump plug.
Vw Polo - ALL MODELS
PROBLEM - Medium light brake does not work. Rear window washer and wiper system error.
CAUSE - Electrical installations damaged next to the rear door and boot hinges.
REPAIR - The electrical installation of the door hinges needs to be repaired.
Vw Polo - ALL MODELS WITH REAR DISC BRAKES SINCE 2005
PROBLEM - Unusual noise from the rear brakes during light braking.
CAUSE - Vibration between the pliers and the rear brake pliers bracket.
REPAIR - Install modified rear brake pliers brackets.
Vw Polo - ALL MODELS WITH MANUAL GEARBOX FROM 02/2007.
PROBLEM - The sound of crushing or scraping from the transmission when engaging 2nd gear.
CAUSE - Inadequate version of 2nd gear synchronous.
REPAIR - Replace 2nd gear synchronous.
Vw Polo - ALL MODELS WITH PLASTIC ROTARY COOLANT PUMP
PROBLEM - Engine overheating.
CAUSE - Cracked rotating part of the coolant pump.
REPAIR - Check coolant pump operation. Remove the coolant reservoir cap. Let the engine run at 2000 rpm. Remove the return hose from the coolant reservoir. If the coolant does not flow, replace the pump.
Vw polo 1.9 TDI
PROBLEM - Poor start, excessive detonation of diesel at idle, engine running in 'safe mode'. Error codes in computer engine error memory (ecm).
CAUSE - The coolant temperature (ECT) sensor sends the wrong signal.
REPAIR - Replace the coolant temperature (ECT) sensor.
