ENGINE - Opel Omega
When the Opel Omega was launched, the standard petrol was 2,0 with 134 horsepower. It was later replaced by 2,2, and the larger ones include 2,5 V6 and 3,0 MV6 engines. Of the four cylinders, which we recommend because they are sufficient, you can expect an average consumption of about six liters of unleaded petrol, at least according to factory data. For diesel engineers, you are advised to avoid the 2,0DTI originally installed, but opt for the 2,2 model or better, though the rare 2,5 TDI is a straight six-cylinder originally from BMW-a. The average consumption for these larger ones is about 7-8 liters, though around the city this can go up to thirteen, especially if you have a heavy foot on the throttle.
FAULTS - Opel Omega
Great pain for everyone Opel Omega's are suspension and suspension, so be sure to bring someone who has a knack for mechanics if you are not able to make your own judgment. The engines didn't turn out to be the brightest either, so let's say a gear belt could cause a problem, already about 50000 kilometers, much earlier than the scheduled replacement interval, so check if the previous owner had similar problems.
Also, take a good look at the interior of the Opel Omega, as it is not exaggerated with quality materials, and rattling and shaking everything in the cabin is a normal occurrence. Lastly, test all electronics quickly as there were no major issues here but it's safe for sure.
