The Mercedes B-Class is a compact 5-door car that was available on the market from 2005-2011. It is lower than the A-Class and comes exclusively with front-wheel drive. It is equipped with a system called "Easy-Vario" which allows all seats except the driver's to be removed from the car, making it a very good means of transport for large objects and things. Due to the so-called sandwich floor, which consists of a double bottom of the car, there is no gearbox tunnel inside, so the floor in the rear seats of the car is completely flat and offers more legroom for passengers. The maximum volume of the boot can reach as much as 2245 liters.
The engines on offer are four-cylinder. Petrols are available from 109 to 140 hp and diesel from 95 to 193 hp. We also offer a B 170 NGT engine that can be powered by gasoline or gas. The Mercedes B Class is one of the most successful cars of its class.
They are included in the standard Mercedes B Class equipment ABS, ASR, ESP, brake assist system, vdriver and front passenger airbags as well as side airbags, belt tensioners and active head restraints. Head and side airbags must be extra charged. In the frontal collision, the B-class sandwich is well behaved because the entire chassis and tunnel of the gearbox are not pushed into the cab but go underneath the car, which is why the B-Class received the highest rating on the Euro NCAP safety test.
Consumption of diesel engines is about 6 liters for the weakest models, while the stronger ones consume slightly more. Gasoline engines consume more than diesel, especially the strongest model with 193 hp that consumes well above 10 liters.
Code problems Mercedes B classes are rare. Some models have rust on the doors, front bonnet and fenders. At higher miles, the suspension springs should be well controlled as they can shoot. With slightly more sporty driving, braking wear can be expected.
