If the camshaft position (CMP) relay is camshaft camshaft on cylinder group 1 aligned, remove the appropriate camshaft position actuator (CMP) and check for contamination. Clean the camshaft position (CMP) actuator and actuator housing if necessary.
If present error code P0017: Remove the Camshaft Position Actuator (CMP) of the exhaust valves on cylinder group 1 and check for contamination. Clean the camshaft position actuator (CMP) and actuator housing if necessary.
If present error code P0018: Remove the Camshaft Position Actuator (CMP) of the intake valves on cylinder group 2 and check for contamination. Clean the camshaft position actuator (CMP) and actuator housing if necessary.
If present error code P0019: Remove the Camshaft Position Actuator (CMP) of the exhaust valves on cylinder group 2 and check for contamination. Clean the camshaft position actuator (CMP) and actuator housing if necessary.
Delete the error codes from the ECM error memory.
