Hyundai i30 - ALL MODELS
PROBLEM - Squeak / squeak when the clutch pedal is depressed or released.
CAUSE - Insufficient lubrication in clutch release lever regulator production.
REPAIR - Replace the clutch release lever regulator. Apply lubricant to the clutch release lever contact surfaces.
Hyundai i30 - ALL MODELS WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION (AT), 09/06/08 - 30/10/08
PROBLEM - Incorrect transmission sound.
CAUSE - Unattached voter cable damper.
REPAIR - Clean the selector cable near the muffler.
Hyundai i30 - ALL MODELS WITH ELECTRIC SERVO DEVICE (EPS)
PROBLEM - The battery is discharged.
CAUSE - The EPS control module does not enter sleep mode after the ignition is OFF.
REPAIR - Reprogram the EPS control module with the updated software.
Hyundai i30 - ALL MODELS 02/2010. - 02/2011.
PROBLEM - The instrument panel gauges occasionally fall to the home position. The daytime running lights flicker occasionally.
CAUSE - Instrument control module internal error.
REPAIR - Install the modified instrument panel. The modified instrument panel is marked with a green dot.

PROBLEM - Poor start or cannot start.
CAUSE - The power steering control module remains on after the ignition is OFF. Power Steering Control Module Software Error.
REPAIR - Reprogram the power steering control module with the updated software.

PROBLEM - Occasionally it is not possible to lock the vehicle with the remote. The steering column lock does not engage.
CAUSE - Faulty ignition key safety switch.
REPAIR - Replace the ignition key safety switch. Lubricate the ignition lock cylinder.

PROBLEM - Difficult operation of EPS.
CAUSE - EPS pump motor overheats when the steering wheel is in full turn. Safety thermal protection is incised and the EPS system is partially deactivated.
REPAIR - Check error codes and delete if necessary.

PROBLEM - Improper idling. Engine shutdown.
CAUSE - Accumulated soot deposits in the idle speed control actuator (ISC).
REPAIR - Clean the Idle Speed Control Actuator (ISC).

PROBLEM - Clicking of the engine at acceleration between 1500 - 2200 rpm at normal operating temperature.
CAUSE - Engine computer software (ECM) error.
REPAIR - Test electronics and mechanics components (as needed) to eliminate other possible causes. If: No error was found: Reprogram the engine computer (ECM) with the updated software.
Hyundai i30 - ALL MODELS WITH PETROL ENGINES 1.4 / 1.6
PROBLEM - Engine Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illuminates.
CAUSE - Engine computer software error (ECM).
REPAIR - Test electronics and mechanics components (as needed) to eliminate other possible causes. If no error is found: Reprogram the engine computer (ECM) with upgraded software.
