The Touran is Volkswagen's first car to be fitted with electro-mechanical steering. It is able to adjust the "weight" of the steering depending on driving speed, and due to otherwise useless energy consumption at idle, it also increases the overall performance of the vehicle.
The entry-level Vw Touran received four out of five stars in the 2003 EuroNCAP test, and after an intelligent seat belt reminder for the driver and front passenger was introduced later that year, the Vw Touran was retested and rated five stars.

Volkswagen Touran

In 2007, after the minor facelift of the Volkswagen Touran, Volkswagen first installed a "Park Assist" technology in a VW vehicle that semi-automatically parks the vehicle in parallel after the driver switches the transmission to "reverse" and assists only with the accelerator pedals. The system manages the steering wheel of the vehicle. This system is installed on all Vw Touran models.

In 2006, the CrossTouran was unveiled, and compared to the classic Vw Touran, it was distinguished by its 17-inch alloy wheels, redesigned bodywork and a raised 15mm ladder.

Of the petrol models we offer 1.6L 102hp, 1.4 TSI 140hp and 2.0 TSI 170hp.

Volkswagen Touran experiences

The second faslifting of the first generation of this monovolumen has been manufactured since 2010. It is based on the Golf VI platform. The quad body is refinished with new lights and a mask painted on the Golf VI, while everything else looks like the first-generation Touran. Touran's emphasis was never on appearance but on his driving characteristics and robustness. Its main advantages are its spacious and airy interior and 700 liter luggage space. The plastic surfaces on the inside seem a bit cold and unattractive, but they are built of quality materials and everything is very precisely fitted. The barrier is full, as many as three are in the ceiling, and there are 39 in total.

It is also supported by quiet work, tight suspension and high reliability. The bumps in the road absorb softly, making the ride extremely comfortable, but the seats are a bit uncomfortable, as the seats are quite high and in a hunched position, while the rear three seats are small. This problem can be solved by purchasing a more expensive equipment package.

Touran has a wealth of innovative technological solutions, some of which are available in our market are Lane Assist and Dynamic Light Assist, which is a lane change assistant that alerts the driver to the entry of vehicles into the so-called. "Blind corner" while the dynamic beam control assistant allows driving with the high beam switched on without interfering with other drivers.

Of the petrol models on offer are 1.2 TSI 103 hp, 1.4 TSI 138 and 168 hp, 1.6 101 hp, 1.6 FSI 114 hp and 2.0 FSI 148 hp.
Mixed driving consumption ranges from 6.4-6.9L / 100km.

Diesel models are on offer 1.6 TDI power 89 and 103hp, 1.9 TDI power 89, 99 and 103 hp, 2.0 TDI 134 and 138 hp and 2.0 TDI DPF 138 and 168 hp.
Mixed driving consumption ranges from 5.1-5.7L / 100km.
