CAUSE - Defective hydraulic module ABS.
REPAIR - Install a new hydraulic module ABS.

PROBLEM - Humming from the front of the vehicle in curves at lower speeds.
CAUSE - Excessive friction in transmission.
REPAIR - Drain and fill the transmission with modified oil G 055 726 A2.

PROBLEM - Poor idle. Irregular sound from the timing belt space.
CAUSE - Timing belt tensioner error.

PROBLEM - Incorrect outdoor air temperature display. The outside air temperature of the heater / air conditioner does not match the settings.
CAUSE - The electrical installations at the outside air temperature sensor connection are not bent properly. Defective outdoor air temperature sensor.
REPAIR - Check the outdoor air temperature sensor electrical installation assembly and repair as needed. If no fault is found: replace the outside air temperature sensor.

PROBLEM - Engine overheating because the engine coolant fan engine is not running or intermittent.
CAUSE - Faulty engine coolant fan motor control module.
REPAIR - Install a new engine coolant fan control module.

PROBLEM - Engine overheating.
CAUSE - Cracked rotating part of the coolant pump.
REPAIR - Check coolant pump operation. Remove the coolant bottle cap. Let the engine run at 2000 rpm. Remove the return pipe from the coolant bottle. If the refrigerant does not leak, replace the refrigerant pump.

PROBLEM - Knocking of the exhaust pipe under the body.
CAUSE - Broken exhaust muffler.
REPAIR - Install a new center exhaust mount.

PROBLEM - Oil leaking from the engine oil pan plug after changing the engine oil.
CAUSE - Damaged drain hole on engine oil pan or thread on plug.
REPAIR - Drain the engine oil. Clean the threads on the drain hole on the engine oil sump and plug.
Check that the drain hole on the engine oil pan or the thread on the cap is damaged. Replace the component if necessary. Tighten the engine oil pan plug to the specified tightening torque.

Volkswagen Golf V - ALL MODELS SA MOTOR 1.9 TDI 
PROBLEM - Poor start. Excessive diesel detonation at idle. The engine runs in forced mode. Fault codes stored in the engine computer fault memory (ECM): P1556 - turbine charge pressure (TC), control limit not reached.
CAUSE - The coolant temperature (ECT) sensor 1 gives the wrong signal.
REPAIR - Replace the coolant temperature (ECT) sensor 1.

Volkswagen Golf V - ALL MODELS WITH CD PLAYER 
PROBLEM - CD player manufactured before 09/2005. Battery discharged. Startup error.
CAUSE - The CD player turns on and the message 'No CD' appears on the screen when the vehicle is parked. Corroded switch in CD player. Moisture / corrosion in the CD player.
REPAIR - Leave the CD in the CD player or replace the CD player.

Volkswagen Golf V - ALL MODELS WITHOUT AIR CONDITIONING 
PROBLEM - The engine coolant fan engine runs continuously after starting the engine.
CAUSE - Engine computer software (ECM) error.
REPAIR - Test electronics and mechanics components (as needed) to eliminate other possible causes. If no error is found: reprogram the engine computer (ECM) with the upgraded software.

Volkswagen Golf V - ALL MODELS WITH ESP 
PROBLEM - The ABS and ESP control lights are on.
CAUSE - Defective ABS brake fluid pressure sensor located in the ABS hydraulic module.
REPAIR - Repair the ABS hydraulic module using repair kit 1K0 698 517 B 1.

Volkswagen Golf V WITH AUTOMATIC GEARBOX WITH MANUAL SWITCHING 
PROBLEM - Difficulty shifting gears.
CAUSE - Engine operation adjustment software error.
REPAIR - Test electronics and mechanics components (as needed) to eliminate other possible causes. If no error is found: Install the upgraded automatic transmission control module software.

    please help with the golf 5 display it shows me in the bottom left corner a mistake i don't know what could be i heard comments that it could be egr i don't know whats in the drive and i don't have any problems but it irritates why i thank you in advance for the info

    Pozz, golf 5 1,9 tdi, the car consumes excessively coolant, the light comes on and I often refill the water. Mechanics can't find it leaking somewhere…

    Hi, I drive golf 5,1.9t but I have a heating problem.I changed the cabin cooler twice.After the replacement of the heating is two days and then it blows cold.Temperature is normal, tecnos t has enough I do not know what the problem is. would like to write, thanks in advance.

    Golf5 1.9tdi, 2004 / 335.000km right mileage, regular services.Automatic jerk on an uphill slope when throttling to shake like a tractor after a while.Driving simply becomes impossible.Fuel filter replaced, situation better with minimum jerk of few seconds.After 15 days, jerking again and the car shakes in the drive.
    Nose or something else to do?
