CAUSE - ABS hydraulic modulator failure due to corrosion.
REPAIR - Install a new ABS hydraulic modulator.

Toyota Yaris 2nd generation - ALL MODELS WITH REAR DISC BRAKES FROM 07/2008. 
PROBLEM - The right parking brake cable is not attached properly.
CAUSE - Faulty parking brake right cable lock.
REPAIR - Install the modified right parking brake cable. The parking brake cable replacement safety hook is not available separately.

PROBLEM - Incorrect sound from the steering wheel when turning the steering wheel.

PROBLEM - The engine is difficult to start, the engine is starting incorrectly, the engine malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) is lit.
CAUSE - Candles contaminated with soot deposits.
REPAIR - Replace candles, check catalytic converter operation and condition, replace if necessary. Check the operation and condition of the heated lambda probe and replace if necessary. Check the diagnostic trouble codes and delete as necessary.

PROBLEM - Rattle from the rear exhaust pipe when accelerating between 2500 - 3500 rpm at normal operating temperature.
CAUSE - Due to an improper version of the front of the exhaust system, the rattle is transmitted to the rear exhaust pipe.
REPAIR - Install the modified front of the exhaust system.

PROBLEM - Oil leaking from the front of the engine.
CAUSE - Improper timing chain cover version.
REPAIR - Install the modified timing chain cover.

Toyota Yaris 2nd generation - ALL DIESEL 1.4 WITH 1ND-TV ENGINE CODE SINCE 2008
PROBLEM - Whistling from the engine compartment at approximately 1600 to 2500 rpm.
CAUSE - Turbocharger error.
REPAIR - Install a modified turbocharger.

CAUSE - Improper clutch assembly version.
REPAIR - Install the modified clutch assembly. Replace the clutch slave cylinder.

PROBLEM - Bad cold start. Faulty idling during cold start.
CAUSE - Defective fuel injectors. Engine Computer Software Error (ECM).
REPAIR - Test electrical and mechanical components and replace defective ones if necessary. If no error is found, reprogram the engine computer (ecm) with the upgraded software. Check the number on the fuel injectors. If the number is 23670-33050, replace the fuel injectors.
