Toyota Auris

The Toyota Auris is a compact car produced in Europe from 2007 to 2013. It comes in a "hatchback" version with three or five doors. It is the successor to the Toyota Corolla, and it brought a new design and its goal was to attract younger customers who want a more attractive look of the car.

The interior of the Toyota Auris is its strongest feature, with an elevated center console that puts all controls within reach of the driver. It's a shame Toyota never uses soft touch plastics in interior design, as the quality would be even higher. Owners complain that the gear lever is positioned too high and too far, which means that it is really difficult to adjust a comfortable driving position.
The rest of the dashboard is decently clear, with a well-designed layout and clear day and night counters.

Thanks to the clever design and layout of the interior space, the ride of the Toyota Auris is comfortable even with three passengers in the rear seats. There is plenty of legroom, both front and rear. In addition, it is possible to tilt the rear backrest backwards, which further increases the comfort of the passengers in the vehicle.
The driver's seat is comfortable in itself, with plenty of adjustments - the only downside is the gearbox, as mentioned earlier.

For most owners, Toyota Auris will behave exactly the way you want it to, with decent grip, neat handling and comfortable driving, even on poor roads.
The steering might be a little better, since it gives the impression of "dullness" when steering.
Gasoline engines can be quite noisy at higher loads, and diesel ones are noisy at moving and lower speeds, and calming at higher. When choosing tires for Auris, be careful about the size of the alloy wheels, as larger wheels create noise that is transmitted to the cabin.

Traditionally, Toyota's reliability and this model is excellent.

In terms of safety, the Toyota Auris scored 5/5 stars in the EURONCAP crash test. All models have driver and front passenger airbags, side airbags and knee airbags, and the ability to deactivate the front passenger airbag so that the child car seat can be installed on the front seat. ABS and the brake assist system come as standard Electronic Stability Control and Traction Control are on the list of accessories.

Toyota The Auris comes in three trim levels: T2, TR and SR. All models come with air conditioning, power mirrors, leather steering wheel, power front windows, MP3-CD player with USB support. The TR trim level includes 16 "alloy wheels, heated rearview mirrors, front fog lights, dual-zone air conditioning and rear power windows. The SR trim level includes 17 "alloy wheels, rear tinted windows, rear spoiler and tinted lights.
The only accessories are leather covers and an electronic stability program with slip control.
