Introduced far back in 1965, Peugeot 204 defined a style pattern for the lower-middle-class models that the French manufacturer had made over the next few decades.
The car was designed by Battista "Pinin" Farina, the founder of Pininfarina.
The Peugeot 204 was produced until 1976, and was also made in several versions - as a sedan, station wagon, coupe, convertible and van.
Over 11 million vehicles have fallen off the production lines in 1,6 years.
During its time, the "two hundred and four" had an elegant design and modern technological solutions, such as front-wheel drive, disc brakes, independent support on both the front and rear axles.
The car was powered by 1.1 liters of transversely positioned gasoline with 53 hp (39 kW).
