CAUSE - Low supply voltage to engine computer (ECM). Low supply voltage on engine control components. Software error engine computer (ECM).
REPAIR - Test electronics and mechanics components (as needed) to eliminate other possible causes. If no error is found: reprogram the engine computer (ECM) with the upgraded software.

Opel Astra H - ALL MODELS WITH DIESEL ENGINE 1.3 / 1.9 
PROBLEM - Fuel is leaking from the fuel filter housing. The smell of diesel in the cabin.
CAUSE - Fuel filter housing cover tightened incorrectly.
REPAIR - Tighten the fuel filter housing cover to 30 Nm. Use special tools: EN46784-10 and EN46784-20.

Opel Astra H - ALL MODELS WITH SOOT PARTICULATE FILTER (DPF) 
PROBLEM - Loss of power. Engine Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illuminates.
CAUSE - Particulate filter (DPF) pressure sensor blocked due to frequent short driving distances or cold starts. Engine Computer Software (ECM) Error.
REPAIR - Test electronics and mechanics components (as needed) to eliminate other possible causes. If no errors are found: reprogram the engine computer (ECM) with the upgraded software. Install a new fuel flow control valve. Test drive. Increase the engine speed until the speed limiter is activated 3 times. Check for fuel leaks. Make sure that no dirt enters the fuel pump. The engine oil temperature must be at least 80 ° C.

PROBLEM - Loud noise from the auxiliary drive belt.

PROBLEM - The battery is discharged. Improper sound from the auxiliary drive belt.
CAUSE - Alternator pulley clutch failure.
REPAIR - Install the modified alternator pulley. Use a special tool: KM-6372.

Opel Astra H - ALL MODELS WITH ENGINE CODE Z22YH 
PROBLEM - The engine starts hard and runs poorly.
CAUSE - Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve blocked in open / closed position.
REPAIR - EGR valve blocked in closed position: Reprogram the ECM with the modified software. EGR valve blocked in open position: Remove the EGR valve and replace with a blocking plate. Reprogram the ECM with the modified software.
