Nissan Micra K12

Nissan Micra K12

In 2003, the new Nissan Micra K12 was launched, which was slightly larger and more rounded in design than its predecessor, the Micra K11. It was available with three and five doors, and in 2005 as a convertible. In addition to the practical rear and spacious interior, the sedan also had good suspension. The normal boot volume is 240 liters and it can be increased by lowering the rear seats. The rear seats are also sliding, so the volume of the trunk can be further increased. The platform has been extended by 70 mm and thus they have set new standards for small city cars.

It enters the standard equipment ABS and four airbags. ESP anti-skating was paid extra. At the Euro NCAP crash test, the Nissan Micra K12 won four out of a possible five stars.

At the launch of the Micra K12, four engines were offered: 1.0 64hp petrol engine that was later thrown out, 1.2 65hp and 78hp petrol engine. Of the diesel engines on offer are 1.4 engines with 86 hp and turbo diesel 1.5 with 65 and 82 hp. In the summer of 2005, the 160SR engine is also available: a 1.6-horsepower 110-horsepower and sports suspension.

The Nissan Micra K12 is especially recommended for new drivers due to its easy handling, smooth gear changes and easy parking. Yet this car is more designed for a slower and more comfortable ride than for chasing. The interior is rich in ingenious compartments: a smart cup holder, a compartment under the driver's seat, door pockets for small things. One of the innovations is the smart key.
Nissan The Micra K12 is generally a reliable car. The timing chain is quite sensitive. The main problem with diesel engines is oil leaks. The errors that occurred with the first models are: CD player errors, central locking, improper climate operation. Three-door models experienced problems with the front seat backrests and longitudinal seatback adjustment. It is also recommended that the front brake discs be replaced because of their frequent damage. Over the years, the reliability of the Nissan Micra K12 has increased and in 2007 ADAC declared the Micra K12 the car with the fewest mistakes.

Consumption of diesel engines is about 5 liters per 100 kilometers, and consumption of gasoline engines from 7 to 8 liters at the same distance.

    Nissan mikra 1.2 2005 petrol
the check engine light came on and then it started consuming 14l, double then. Diagnostics says bad fuel mixture, but two or three times I filled the tank with 100 octane, the last time I poured 300ml motul additive, after 70km of intensive driving, the light came on again, consumption jumped again, again the diagnostics says bad mixture. Normally it does a little shaking in idle gas. If it can help I would be grateful. Hi guys
