The Citroen C8 is a van that began production in 2002 and was created in collaboration with French Citroen and Peugeot and Italian Fiat and Lancia. Share the platform with Fiat Ulysses, The Lancia Phendrom and the Peugeot 807. Also known as the Eurovan, the five-seat and seven-seater models come in 4 trims, Style, Comfort, Tendance and Exclusive as the strongest trim.
Citroen C8
Two diesels and three gasoline are available in the engine range. The diesels come in 2.0 turbo 136 hp and 2.2 biturbo 170 hp. Gasoline engines range from 2.0 16V with 136 hp over 2.2l 16V with 158 hp to 3.0 V6 engines with 204 hp.
The 2.0hp 136 diesel consumes about 6l per 100km while the more powerful 2.2hp 170hp consumes about 7l per 100km.
The standard safety equipment package includes ABS, ESP anti-slip system, side impact protection, driver and front passenger airbag, front and rear airbags (curtains), MP3-supported radio with 8-speaker CD player.
It has not been tested on the Euro Ncap test, but it is the same model Peugeot 807 received 5/5 stars for passenger safety.
