Citroen C5 - ALL MODELS 
PROBLEM - The sound of crushing from the power steering column in curves or when parking.
CAUSE - Excessive friction between the shaft and the steering column bearing.
REPAIR - Lubricate the shaft and bearing column contact surfaces.

Citroen C5 - ALL MODELS 
PROBLEM - Shivering in 1st gear with the engine idling.
CAUSE - Incorrect engine control parameters stored in the engine computer (ECM). Defective transmission / engine mount (s).
REPAIR - Check and adjust engine operation control parameters using appropriate diagnostic equipment. Check and, if necessary, replace the transmission / engine mounts.

Citroen C5 - ALL MODELS 
PROBLEM - Unusual noise from the front windows during operation.
CAUSE - The free-standing front door glass nuts are loose.
REPAIR - Install the modified front door glass stand-alone nuts. Install the washer between the glass bracket and the screw. Tighten the screw to 0,5 Nm.

PROBLEM - Unusual noise from the front axle. Vibrations in the driver's side floor in curves or when parking. The steering wheel is not working properly in corners or when parking.
CAUSE - Insufficient lubrication of the power steering rack.
REPAIR - Remove the hook from the steering rack cuff on the driver's side and then the cuff. Turn the steering wheel for a full turn. Lubricate the power steering rail clamp. Install the steering rack sleeve and the new safety catch.

Citroen C5 - ALL MODELS 
PROBLEM - The power management system suddenly turns on 'Economy mode'.
CAUSE - Multifunction control module software error.
REPAIR - Test components, electronics and mechanics (as needed) to eliminate other possible causes. If no error is found: reprogram the multifunction control module with upgraded software.

PROBLEM - The bonnet does not open in very cold conditions.
CAUSE - Frozen cable for opening the bonnet, due to water ingress.
REPAIR - Install a modified bonnet cable. Inspect the bonnet lever for damage, replace if necessary.

PROBLEM - Water enters the front footwell during air conditioning (AC) operation.
CAUSE - Air conditioner evaporator housing cover seal defective. Clogged condensate drain pipes on the air conditioner evaporator.
REPAIR - Check if the insulation of the air conditioning evaporator drain pipe restricts or blocks the thermal protection. If necessary, cut the insulation so that it does not come into contact with the drain pipes. Remove and inspect the air conditioning evaporator housing cover for damage. Replace if necessary. Install self-adhesive tape to the air conditioning evaporator housing cover.

Citroen C5 - MODELS 2000 - 2006 
PROBLEM - Periodic whining and blockage of the rear brake pliers.
CAUSE - Corrosion between the bracket and the brake pliers causes an imbalance.
REPAIR - Clean the bearing surfaces of the brake pliers and brackets. If they are too corroded, install new brake pliers.

Citroen C5 1.6 HDI 
PROBLEM - Turbocharger (TC) oil leak. Engine power drop. Engine / turbocharger (TC) whistling sound.
CAUSE - Check the TC suction pipe for cracks.
REPAIR - Replace the TC suction pipe.

Citroen C5 1.6 HDI 
PROBLEM - Incorrect sound from the timing belt space.
CAUSE - Water entering the timing belt covers causes corrosion.
REPAIR - Replace the timing belt along with the spanners and rollers. Clean corrosion from all components.

Citroen C5 1.6 HDI 
PROBLEM - The engine coolant temperature control indicator illuminates, but the engine temperature gauge reads normal. Switching on the air conditioner affects the operation of the coolant temperature control lamp.
CAUSE - Faulty engine coolant fan motor relays.
REPAIR - Replace all three relays.

Citroen C5 - DIESEL MODELS SA SOIL FILTER (DPF)
PROBLEM - Engine Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illuminates. The engine loses power. Rattle from the turbocharger (TC). Too much exhaust fumes.
CAUSE - Internal turbocharger (TC) fault.
REPAIR - Inspect the engine for internal damage. Install a new turbocharger (TC) if necessary.

Citroen C5 - DIESEL MODELS SA SOIL FILTER (DPF)
PROBLEM - The fan continues to run after the ignition is turned off, but for a maximum of 10 minutes.
CAUSE - Parameter map settings in the engine computer (ECM).
REPAIR - No action required.

Citroen C5 - MODELS WITH DV / DW12B ENGINE 
PROBLEM - Improper idling and sudden engine shutdown.
CAUSE - Faulty crankshaft position (CKP) sensor connections.
REPAIR - Check the production date code on the CKP sensor. If the date code is 3156 or higher, the CKP sensor is correct. Replace or clean if necessary.

Citroen C5 - MODELS WITH ENGINE CODE DV6 
PROBLEM - There is no level mark on the oil dipstick.
CAUSE - Oil level dipstick broken above maximum mark.
REPAIR - Install a new oil dipstick.

Citroen C5 - MODELS WITH AUTOMATIC GEARBOX 
PROBLEM - Transmission oil leak.
CAUSE - Left drive shaft oil seal incorrect.
REPAIR - Install the modified left drive shaft oil seal.

Citroen C5 - MODELS 1.8 WITH AIR SYSTEM 
PROBLEM - Engine Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illuminates.
CAUSE - Secondary air intake pump (AIR) filter error. Secondary air injection (AIR) valve / solenoid valve blocked in open position.
REPAIR - Clean debris from the secondary air intake (AIR) pipe. Replace the secondary air injection pump (AIR). Check the solenoid valve / secondary air injection valve (AIR). Replace if necessary.

Citroen C5 - MODELS WITH SOOT FILTER (DPF) AND RHT / RHR / 4HW CODES 
PROBLEM - Engine Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illuminates.
CAUSE - Electrical installation of the temperature sensor DPF tare on the support.
REPAIR - Replace the temperature sensor DPF. Repair electrical installations as needed.

Citroen C5 - MODELS WITH CODE XFX 
PROBLEM - Occasional misfire and engine shaking. The engine loses power.
CAUSE - Coil error.
REPAIR - Replace the coil.

Citroen C5 3.0 V6 
PROBLEM - Faulty idle. The engine starts hard and vibrates and pulls poorly.
CAUSE - Coil (s) error. Coil insulation error.
REPAIR - Install the modified coil (s).

Citroen C5 - MODELS WITH RHD CODE 
PROBLEM - Bright control lights 'Service' and ABS / ESP. Cruise control does not work or is deactivated occasionally. The vehicle speed limiter does not work, ie it has interruptions in operation.
CAUSE - Defective brake pedal position (BPP) switch, or incorrect distance between adapter and surrounding components.
REPAIR - Install the modified brake pedal position (BPP) switch. Install the adapter assembly to the brake pedal position switch (BPP) and the existing assembly. Wrap the adapter and assembly with protection. Attach the adapter and the existing assembly with a tie.

Citroen C5 - MODELS WITH TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM (TPMS) 
PROBLEM - Control indicator TPMS illuminates. Low pressure in one or more tires.
CAUSE - TPMS sensor manufacturer error.
REPAIR - Install a modified TPMS sensor if necessary. The tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) must be calibrated - contact the manufacturer.

Citroen C5 - MODELS WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FROM 01/07/10 (DAM 12288CJ) 
PROBLEM - The selector lever cannot be moved from position 'P'.
CAUSE - Defective transmission parking safety solenoid valve relay.
REPAIR - Install a new transmission park position safety solenoid valve relay.

Citroen C5 - MODELS WITH ELECTRIC SEATS FROM 29/07/08 
PROBLEM - The electric motor mechanism for moving the seat does not work.
CAUSE - Disconnected electrical connection of the driver's seat.
REPAIR - Reconnect the multi-connector assembly. Secure the electrical wiring assembly connector with adhesive tape.

Citroen C5 - MODELS WITH CODE DW10BTED4, RPO 11382-11676 (07/01 / 08-26 / 10/08) 
PROBLEM - Leaking engine oil from the front of the oil sump.
CAUSE - Engine oil pan plug manufacturer error.
REPAIR - Install the modified engine oil sump plug and gasket.

Citroen C5 - MODELS WITH SUSPENSION HEIGHT CONTROL 
PROBLEM - The height control does not work. The height control indicator illuminates. Fluid leakage from suspension height / power steering fluid reservoir.
CAUSE - Suspension of the suspension control module due to oil leakage from the suspension control tank / power steering.
REPAIR - Check for leaks in the suspension control fluid / power steering. Replace if necessary. Check that the suspension height control module is contaminated with oil. Replace if necessary. Check the suspension height control fuse. Replace if necessary.

    It's a citroen c5 20hdi 100kv exclusive, it throws out a faulty deployment system fault and it starts harder when it starts, there are no problems in driving, it pulls normally.
