Chevrolet Cruze experiences

The Chevrolet Cruze is a compact 4-door sedan on sale since 2009 and has replaced the Chevrolet Nubiru. The Chevrolet Cruze is built on the Delta platform from GM just like the Opel Astra J. The use of the new platform, developed by Opel for the new Astra, ensures good passenger space. The front seats offer the luxury of space, especially in length. The Chevrolet Cruze is 4,597 meters long, 1,788 meters wide and 1,477 meters high with 450 liters of luggage space, an affordable car, yet modernly designed and well equipped. The rounded shape, enviable ergonomics and functionality are the main features of the new Chevrolet. Its competitors are in the market Mazda 3, fiat bravo i Kia Ceed.
Since 2011, a five-door hatchback version with a boot up to 883 liters is also available.
We offer the following equipment packages: Base, LS and LT and their variants with the Plus designation. The Base equipment package includes ABS, power steering, driver and passenger front airbags, side airbags, MP3 CD radios, heated and electrically operated exterior mirrors, remote central locking, and power windows.
The LS package with the Base includes air conditioning, four airbags, sunroofs, ESP, trip computer, power windows.
The LS Plus package includes rear parking sensors, front fog lights, steering wheel controls.
The richest package is the LT, which includes an automatic air conditioning, 17-inch aluminum wheels, rain sensor, cruise control.
No wonder Cruze won the maximum mark on the Euro NCAP Crash Test.

The Chevrolet Cruze is available with two 113hp and 140hp petrol engines and two 125hp and 150hp diesel engines.
The basic 1.6-liter Ecotec generation petrol engine develops 113hp and 153Nm.With a weight of 1360 kg, it is difficult to cope with the massive Cruze and often requires high rpm.
The more powerful is a 1,8-liter 140hp petrol engine with better performance.
Also available is a 16 valve turbo diesel engine with 125 and 150 hp.

Soft suspension is more suitable for highways and fast roads, than narrow winding roads, because there is a pronounced tilting of the body. Driving on the highway is comfortable, and a higher noise level begins to reach the car just above a speed of 170 km / h. The steering is direct, but it lacks the same feel as the brake pedal.

I have heard from people that the sheet metal is very thin and that it rattles a lot but a lot in the cabin when it is raining. Not even satisfied with the plastic inside. How right he is, I don't know.

Very sensitive petrol 1.6 91kw. There are no hydro valve lifters so it has to be operated manually .. I roared at 95000km. And at 125000 km the variable pulleys of the camshafts went .. The set of pulleys and selenoid valves need to be replaced .. The pulleys are in the box 2000kn and the valves 850kn and of course you have to put a new timing belt because it rotates those variable pulleys .. These pulleys control the valves ..
