Chevrolet Aveo 2008 - 2011 - Used car, experiences, flaws
Chevrolet Aveo
The Chevrolet Aveo has been available since April 2008 and replaces the Daewoo Kalos on the market. The Aveo hatchback is built on the new T250 platform. The most important features of this thoroughly renovated model are its attractive exterior, comfortable interior and a new, even more efficient petrol engine. The front of the car is dominated by a large split grille in two parts with a body-colored frame and a logo located in the middle. The headlights are round, and below them are the fog lights. The rear of the car is dominated by a bumper and round lights. The Chevrolet Aveo is 3,92 m long, 1,68 m wide and 1,51 m high. The size of the trunk is 220 liters, and with the seats lowered, it can be increased to an incredible 980 liters. It is available in three body versions: three-door, five-door hatchback and 2006 sedan.
The interior of the Chevrolet Aveo is modern, spacious and functional. The instrument panel is clearly divided into four instruments and a center console with modern air vents, an integrated CD player and climate control controls.
The Chevrolet Aveo comes with two petrol engines already used in the Opel Corsa. The new engine is a 1.2 engine with 84 hp with a consumption of 5,5 liters per 100 kilometers. The more powerful engine is a 1.4 engine with 100 hp and a consumption of 6 liters per 100 kilometers. The engines come with a five-speed manual transmission, and a more powerful 1.4 engine is also available with an automatic transmission. The engines meet the Euro 4 standard, have two camshafts driven by a chain without the need for additional maintenance and use four-valve technology.
Soft suspension Chevrolet The Aveo is intended for city driving and proved to be excellent in the city crowds. As for more temperamental driving, the steering wheel is inaccurate, and gives too little information.
The Chevrolet Aveo is available with three equipment packages: S, LS and LT. Equipment package S includes: 14-inch steel wheels, power steering, electric windshield wipers, MP3 player, ABS, airbag for driver and front passenger and side airbags. The LS package includes 15-inch steel wheels, air conditioning, trip computer, electric windows and electrically adjustable mirrors, while the richest LT package also includes 15-inch alloy wheels, rear spoiler, front fog lights, leather-wrapped steering wheel with radio controls.
